#5 Let's Be Frank (15-1) - A maiden trying against some of the best in the world, but Michael Maker must like what he sees with this colt after trying the Grade 2 Pilgrim and now a Breeders Cup race prior to winning a race. He is bred to handle the distance and can improve off his 78 beyer speed figure last time out with his 3rd career start. He should have plenty of pace to run into with his closing style.
#9 Argos (6-1) - A Canadian shipper coming off a Grade 1 Summer win at Woodbine and has tactical speed to stalk the pace setters. I like that Flavien Prat went to Woodbine to ride and stays on for today's race. He is another lightly raced colt that has improved on each effort and another improvement puts him in contention.
#14 Gstaad (9/5) - The deserving favorite with 2 wins and 3 second place finishes in his career but the outside post position draw did him no favors. He will need to overcome being hung out wide in the first turn but may just be good enough against this bunch.

Working at a country club a mile east of Del Mar Racetrack, Sean was introduced to horse racing and his passion for the sport took off. In his first season playing the NHC Tour, he qualified for the Championship by placing 2nd in the LRF Cares contest after turning his initial $250 bankroll into $3,640.40.
