Let me start with an excerpt from what I wrote about the Bulls earlier on this road trip.  Numbers have been slightly edited to reflect the results of their last few games:

“Very quietly, waaaaaay underneath the radar, the Chicago Bulls are playing their best basketball of the season, 13-3 ATS in their last 16 ballgames.  The Bulls are 7-2 SU, 8-1 ATS in their last nine contests, the lone defeats coming in a down-to-the-final-possession affair at Houston and a competitive six point loss in Phoenix.  Head coach Billy Donovan didn’t seem too concerned with Chicago’s injuries (missing Lonzo Ball, Tre Jones and Ayo Dosunmu): “I think our guys are lining up and competing. They're really trying to play physical, so I've been really pleased with a pretty significant jump in that area from earlier in the year to where we are now."  The Bulls are worth riding right now, plain and simple.”

This short pointspread is already telling us that Denver won’t be at or near full strength tonight on the second of back-2-backs, off a very satisfying, hard fought win in Houston yesterday –  a game where every Nuggets starter played 32+ minutes.  Basically, Jamal Murray went nuts; the supporting cast around him did just enough.  Tonight, Denver won’t have Nikola Jokic again, and while head coach Mike Malone hasn’t yet announced if anyone else is going to sit, we can expect limited minutes for some starters who do play on the Nuggets second-to-last back-2-back this year. In their last try on the second of back-2-backs, they lost outright as -12 favorites against the Wizards………  Live dog here!  Take the Bulls.
