College Football Week 11 Betting Leans

Missouri +20.5 vs. Tennessee – Over the years, I’ve had quite a lot of success picking spots to play against teams when they’re coming off their first loss. The longer a team has stayed undefeated, the harder the players tend to take that first setback. When you have dreams of a perfect record, it’s hard not to think about “what could have been.”

I did successfully play against the Vols at Georgia and I think this is another good spot to go against them. However, I’m just not sure that I trust Missouri coming off a hard-fought loss.

Louisville +7 at Clemson – As mentioned when discussing Missouri vs Tennessee, I sometimes like going against teams after they suffer their first defeat. I’d like to be getting more than a touchdown with the Cardinals, though, considering that they were 38-point underdogs the last time that they played here (Clemson won by 61.)

While the Tigers aren’t as strong now as they were then, memories of that destruction may be enough to keep me on the sidelines.

UAB -6 vs. North Texas – I’ve nearly played against the Mean Green a few times. Fortunately, I’ve resisted temptation as they’ve now covered six straight.

I feel that their streak will likely come to an end against a tough UAB team. The Blazers badly need a victory and they always give North Texas trouble. I don’t like that the Blazers are off an OT loss, though. I’m also not thrilled that UAB has LSU on deck. I’ll likely pass.
