NRFI Prediction 1: Padres vs Dodgers (-122)

Two veterans take the mound tonight as the Dodgers head to San Diego to take on the Padres. Clayton Kershaw takes the mound for the Dodgers only allowing one earned run in his last 20 innings pitched.

The Dodgers bats have been on fire as of late scoring 10+ runs in each game of their series against the Phillies, but Darvish has the stuff that can cool those bats off, at least for the first inning.

He sports a 3.00 home ERA and hasn’t allowed a first inning run in four of his five starts this season. Last season against the Dodgers he allowed batters to only hit .191 off him sporting a 2.52 ERA in total against Los Angeles.

This is a big NL West series this weekend so I expect both pitchers to be firing out of the gates for a NRFI to occur. Play on a NRFI bet in this Padres vs Dodgers clash at -122 with first pitch set for 9:40pm ET.

NRFI Prediction 2: Mariners vs Astros (-148)

Houston Astros starter tonight Christian Javier hasn’t allowed a first inning run in five straight starts taking on the Mariners and ace Luis Castillo.

He hasn’t allowed a first inning run in five of his six starts this season and sports a 1.82 ERA in total this season.

The Mariners as a team have been involved in a NRFI in six of their last seven games with another one lining up nicely tonight.

As a team the Mariners are dead last in the MLB in batting average at .218 with Houston sitting 20th at .240. Play on a NRFI to happen in this Mariners vs Astros game before first pitch at 10:10pm ET at -148.
