Spanish Grand Prix Betting Analysis
After a dominating win in Monaco, we may see something similar this week from Verstappen and Red Bull.
Weeks ago, I said I thought Red Bull was actually holding back and based on Max winning Monaco, a track not suited for Red Bull, by that big of a margin was a real eye opener.
This weeks track should suit Red Bull quite nicely with two DRS zones, and one of the straights is a dream for Red Bull and a nightmare for the rest of the field as they will watch Red Bull pull away on that long stretch.
Spanish Grand Prix Top Storylines
-What surprise will Ferrari have for us? No, not upgrades to the car. I mean, what hilarious blunders will they perform for us? Sainz running into the back tyre of Ocon on Sunday as his radio told him to push Ocon to use up his tyres was just brilliant comedy and a perfect example of what we’ve come to expect on race day from Ferrari.
-Mercedes upgrades: Exciting or Fraudulent? This is a great track for Mercedes to show off what these new upgrades have, and we’ll see if they find any extra speed to compete with Alonso or Leclerc. Either way, I just hope they keep cashing the best bet in all of sports right now…Mercedes Double Top 10.
-Alpine being a consistent Top 10 threat? As long as they stay out of trouble, Ocon and Gasly have been really good the last two races both finishing inside the Top 10. This track will be a great test to see if they can get three in a row.
Spanish Grand Prix Bets To Consider
–Red Bull Double Podium -165 – Perez should be on his best behavior in qualifying this week after completely ruining his weekend in Q1 at Monaco, and even if one of the Red Bulls stumble in qualifying, they’ll fly through the field in the race.
–Mercedes Top 10 -330 – You’ll have to parlay this with something unless you’re comfortable laying a lot of juice, but this bet is basically the best bet in sports right now as it hit once again at Monaco
-Lando Norris Top 10 -140 – the Top 10 is getting crowded, but Norris has finished Top 10 in three out of four races. Red Bull, Mercedes, Alonso, Ferrari, Alpine I would expect to be Top 10 leaving that last spot for Norris or Stroll, but I don’t trust Stroll at all, and if anyone falters in Ferrari, Norris should be there.
Spanish Grand Prix Prediction: Mercedes Top 10
