Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Christian Yelich (+480)

For some reason Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich loves playing in day games which will be the case today when Brewers host the Rockies at 2:10pm ET.

Yelich bats .318 with a .547 slugging percentage during day games compared to a .267 average and .413 slugging percentage at night.

They get Rockies starter Chris Flexen today sporting a 9.43 ERA on the road while allowing opponents to bat .418 away from Coors Field.

He also has an 8.66 day time ERA which doesn’t bode well for him today. We’re hoping to get at least two at-bats from Yelich against Flexen as the Colorado righty allows lefties to bat .349 with a .581 slugging percentage on the season as well.

Yelich hit seven home runs in July but has yet to hit one in August as this looks like a solid situational spot for him to hit his first in today’s series finale against the Rockies.

Take Yelich to hit a home run at +480 with other Brewers with potential for a home run are William Contreras (+390) and Willy Adames (+350).

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Gunnar Henderson (+400)

Astros starter Cristian Javier has given up six home runs in his last six starts heading into tonight’s matchup against the Orioles at 7:05pm ET.

Gunnar Henderson should be able to take advantage with Javier allowing a .278 batting average to lefties and a .496 slugging percentage compared to allowing just a .178 average and .335 slugging percentage to righties.

The Astros righty sports a 5.29 road ERA while allowing 13 of his 17 total home runs on the road this season as well.

Henderson has hit a home run every 16 at-bats against righties this season compared to just one every 43 at-bats against lefties. The Orioles third baseman already has two home runs this month after hitting six in both June and July.

Tonight makes a good night for Henderson to get in the home run column once again with odds listed at +400 with other lefties who could hit a home run include Ryan O’Hearn (+390) and Adley Rutschman (+500).
