NRFI Prediction 1: Padres vs Brewers (-118)

The Padres and Brewers head into their game tonight sporting two of the bottom six batting averages across MLB as Yu Darvish takes the mound against Brandon Woodruff.

The Brewers righty is only making his sixth start of the season as he hasn’t allowed a first inning run in each of his first five starts and his last 11 overall!

Darvish hasn’t allowed a first inning run in 19 of his 23 total starts on the season including eight straight. Current Padres hitters have collectively only batted .182 against Woodruff in his career with current Brewers batters having slightly better success against Darvish collectively batting .246.

In his last three road starts Darvish has pitched 18 innings while only allowing one earned run. Take a Padres vs Brewers NRFI tonight at -128 with first pitch at 8:10pm ET.

NRFI Prediction 2: Braves vs Giants (-113)

We could be set for a pitchers duel in San Francisco tonight at the Braves and Giants go at it at 10:10pm ET.

Now the Braves have been known for being first inning scoring machines this season but Giants starter Logan Webb hasn’t allowed a first inning run in 20 of his 26 starts including three straight.

Spencer Strider toes the rubber for Atlanta not allowing a first inning run in 21 of 25 starts including 11 straight.

Current Giants batters have only collectively hit .114 against Strider in their careers with current Braves batters hitting .261 against Webb.

The Giants starter has been much better at home on the season sporting a 2.11 ERA compared to a 4.63 road ERA.

Webb’s last start came against this same Braves team in which he held them scoreless in the first inning. Play on a Braves vs Giants NRFI tonight with odds listed at -132.
