The Cardinals turned Washington over three times, sacked Sam Howell six times, and held the Commanders to just 248 total yards, but they turned it over themselves twice.

Arizona deserves a ton of credit – they are not talented at all, but they played hard, had a game plan, and put together a respectable team effort.

Giants vs Cardinals Prediction: The PICK

The Giants opened at -4.5, and this price seems fair. As we mentioned, the Cardinals are not talented, but Week One showed us that they are well-prepared, will not back down, and will play hard for Coach Gannon.

On the other hand, the media assumed the Giants would be well-coached and well-prepared because they made the playoffs last year and Daboll won Coach of the Year, but they are not further from the case.

Also, looking at their roster, New York’s roster is arguably worse than the Commanders, who barely beat the Cardinals in the opener.

Turnovers are high-variance plays in the NFL, and no team can reliably count on winning the turnover battle week in and week out.

With that being said, if Arizona can continue to force turnovers and limit their own, they will be in most games this season.

If New York continues to turn the ball over, they will fade out of the playoff picture quickly. We do not have an opinion on this game, but unless you do, there are much better games to watch on Sunday.
