On the season, Miami is 3-0 SU and ATS, and Buffalo is 2-1 SU and ATS. Buffalo is 9-1 SU but 4-5-1 ATS in their L10 meetings with Miami. Those games are 7-3 to the over.

Miami is 6-0 ATS in their L6 games and 5-0 ATS in their L5 road games. Buffalo is 10-2 SU in their L12 games and 13-2 SU in their L15 home games, including 7-0 SU vs. Miami at home.

Now, these two teams face off after absolutely dismantling their previous opponents. The Miami Dolphins put up SEVENTY POINTS against the Denver Broncos at home.

Miami had 726 (no, not a type) yards of offense, 30 first downs, forced three turnovers, and scored TEN touchdowns.

Oh, and they only allowed 10 points outside of garbage time. Miami had the five fastest ball carriers in the entire NFL in Week 3.

There are no words for what the Dolphins did – they embarrassed the Broncos and put up the 2nd most points in NFL history. At least the Bills can maybe put up a fight.

The Bills went into DC and put up 37 points without blinking. It seemed like Buffalo took their foot off the gas for a little bit because, as someone who watched this game, it looked like Buffalo could have put up 50 if they tried.

They forced five turnovers, held Washington to 1-9 on third down, put up 386 yards, and only allowed three points, which came with 46 seconds left in the game.

Dolphins vs Bills Prediction: The PICK

Buffalo and Miami played each other three times last season, including in the playoffs, but Tua was not under center for Miami. That was just a three-point game.

Buffalo opened as a 2.5-point home favorite against a team that just scored 70 points. Without over or underreacting too much to yesterday, this line makes some sense.

Cases could be made that these two teams are currently the best in the NFL. Buffalo certainly has a home-field advantage, but Buffalo in September is much different than Buffalo in January.

No one knows how a team that just put up 70 points is going to follow up such an outstanding performance, but we do know this should be a great game. How do the Bills slow down Miami on offense? That will be the million-dollar question.

If Buffalo can control the clock, not turn it over, and methodically move the football, they have the talent to compete and win this game.

Miami has the upper hand if this game turns into a track meet. We cannot expect them to repeat last week’s performance, but we know they are capable of dropping 70, and that in itself is terrifying for their opposition.

Both these teams can score in bunches, and Miami’s defense may be a little overrated, so the over 53.5 is worth a look.
