Thursday Night Football Prop Prediction 1: Dontayvion Wicks Over 15.5 Receiving Yards (-115 DraftKings)

Dontayvion Wicks wasn’t a name on everyone’s radar to start the season, but he has emerged as a reliable option for Jordan Love compiling 10 targets and six catches over the last two weeks combined.

He averaged 42.5 receiving yards in those games with his number set around 15.5 heading into tonight’s Thursday Night Football game with the Lions.

Detroit has become injury ridden in the secondary with C.J. Gardner-Johnson out for the season and corner backs Emmanuel Moseley listed as questionable with a knee injury and safety Kerry Joseph questionable with a hip injury.

Sure there are other Green Bay receivers that may be listed ahead in the depth chart like Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs, but Christian Watson is still questionable heading into this one and the Packers may want to ease him back into the rotation.

Wicks has done a great job in taking over for Watson while he’s been injured and even if Watson were to return tonight, look for Wicks to still be somewhat of a force on the Packers offense going over 15.5 receiving yards, a number he could surpass with one catch as he’s averaged 14 yards per reception on the season.

Thursday Night Football Prop Prediction 2: Aidan Hutchinson Over 0.25 Sacks (+125 DraftKings)

The Packers are banged up on the offensive line heading into tonight’s Thursday Night Football matchup with starting OT David Bakhtiari and OG Elton Jenkins already ruled out for this contest and OG Zach Tom heading in questionable.

The Packers have only allowed one sack per game this season but the Lions have arguably the best defensive line this team will see so far this season.

Aidan Hutchinson had a monster game last week in their win vs the Falcons. He stuffed the stat sheet with four total takes including two sacks, one tackle for loss and two pass deflections.

Expect the Michigan product to be very active once again with the Lions as a team racking up seven total sacks in their game against Atlanta.

Hutchinson had 9.5 sacks in his rookie campaign and he’s on his way to double digit sacks already this season.

Look for Hutchinson to get in the backfield once again as we only need half a sack from him to cash this plus-money prop.
