This season, The Raiders are 3-4 SU and ATS. The Lions are 5-2 SU and ATS. Detroit is 4-2 SU but 3-3 ATS in their L6 meetings with the Raiders.

Those games went 4-2 to the over. Las Vegas is 2-4 ATS in their L6 games, and four of their L5 games have gone under.

What an embarrassing performance by the Raiders on Sunday. Las Vegas entered Chicago as a slight favorite with Bryan Hoyer at QB against a D2 QB making his first start, and they lost by 18 points.

The Raiders committed three turnovers and forced none, they were outgained by almost 100 yards, went 2-9 on third down, and allowed Chicago to go 8-13 on third down.

Las Vegas committed just two penalties to the Bears’ nine, and not even that gave them an edge in this game.

Brian Hoyer and rookie Aidan O’Connell played in the game, and both QBs had a turnover and did nothing special.

Lions Football Preview

The Lions had a chance to make a major statement. So far this season, Detroit has beaten bad teams outside of Week 1, and the Lions had a chance to put the NFL on notice.

Instead, the Lions were decimated. Detroit was losing 28-0 before halftime, and this game was effectively over.

Lamar Jackson got whatever he wanted, Jared Goff could not move the football until the game was basically over, and the Lions were brought back down to Earth.

While this was an embarrassing loss for Detroit, this loss is not the end of the world. The Lions need to get battle-tested, and though they failed miserably, they can build off this game.

Raiders vs Lions Prediction: The PICK

Detroit hosts the Raiders on Monday Night Football, and this is a great opportunity for them to flex their muscles yet again.

The Lions are laying eight points, and while this team is not accustomed to laying more than a TD (they did against Carolina and won handily), this is a matchup they can take advantage of, especially if Brian Hoyer is under center again.

We need to monitor the injury report to see who will be playing QB for Detroit, but this seems like a great bounceback spot for the Lions.
