First Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 1: Jalen Hurts, Eagles First Touchdown (+350) DK

This will be our third straight week rolling with Jalen Hurts to score first and he and while he didn’t score last week, he does have three first touchdowns on the season.

Hurts has also scored his team’s first touchdown in four of their last six games. Hurts is also tied with Josh Allen for the most quarterback rushing touchdowns with 15 while amassing 601 yards on 155 carries.

The New York Giants have scored an NFL low three first touchdowns on the season and the Eagles should score first as 5-point favorites.

There is a chance that this game won’t matter to the Eagles when this game begins but the Philadelphia starters will still play early in the game so it shouldn’t affect the first touchdown market.

If Hurts gets in the red area, he will certainly look for a record setting 16th quarterback rushing touchdown.

First Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 2: CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys First Touchdown (+425) DK

CeeDee Lamb and Jerome Ford both recorded their seventh first touchdown of the season, which ties them with Christian McCaffrey for most first touchdowns on the season.

The San Francisco 49ers have locked up the #1 see in the NFC and they have already ruled out McCaffrey for Week 18.

Lamb is in the midst of the best season in his short career with 122 receptions for 1,651 yards and 10 touchdowns thus far. Lamb has now scored in each of his last 8 games, 9 of his last 10 games and 10 of 16 games on the season.

This includes a game against the Washington Commanders on November 23rd where he caught four passes for 53 yards and a touchdown.

The Commanders have allowed the 2nd MOST touchdowns (25) and MOST yards (3,021) to opposing wide receivers as only the Philadelphia Eagles have allowed more receivers to score with 26.

Lamb also has the ability to score on the ground with two rushing touchdowns on the season including a three-yard scamper in Buffalo three weeks ago.

I could also see playing Jerome Ford in another favorable matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, but my money is on Lamb to take the first touchdown crown for the season.
