National Championship Washington vs Michigan Player Props Prediction 1: Ja’Lynn Polk, Washington Over 49.5 Receiving Yards (-130) DK

Washington Huskies wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk has already caught 65 passes for 1,122 yards, nine touchdowns and an average of 17.3 yards per reception on the season.

More importantly, Polk has recorded 50+ receiving yards in 11 of his 12 games this season while landing on 41 yards in the lone game he fell short. Polk has posted 100+ yards on seven occasions and he’s a deep ball threat with a 30+ yard reception in 9 of 12 games.

This Washington team is loaded with NFL-caliber receivers and Rome Odunze is actually the #1 option on the team, so Polk draws less attention than he would normally.

Michigan does have a strong defense, but they haven’t faced a passing attack anywhere close to this one led by Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Considering the fact that Michigan is favored by 5, Washington will in all likelihood need to throw throughout the game.

That’s going to be their game plan regardless and Polk has the deep ball ability to get this done on a single catch.

College Football Player Props Prediction 2: Blake Corum, Michigan 2+ Touchdowns (+120) DK

Michigan Wolverines running back Blake Corum has posted 1,111 rushing yards and a staggering 25 touchdowns in 14 games on the season.

Corum has actually scored in EVERY game and more importantly scored 2+ touchdowns in 10 of those 14 games including each of his last six games.

He’s gotten the job done twice against top-10 defenses (Penn State & Ohio State) and against other strong defenses like Iowa and Alabama. In the four games where he didn’t score twice, Michigan won each of those games by 27 points and an average of 36.5 points.

Corum was obviously rested in those games as he recorded and average of 13.75 touches per game compared to 19.8 per game in the other 10 contests.

The Wolverines team total is set at 30.5 and they will need to score early and often to match this explosive Washington offense. Look for Corum to score twice again at plus money in a potential shootout.
