Miami Grand Prix Track: Miami International Autodrome
This track only has a couple of tight turns, and then it’s pretty wide open with a very long back stretch and a long sweeping, bending front stretch, and with 3 DRS sections, that’s where the passing will take place.
Outside of the start, the cars should spread out and not be in close quarters very often so I don’t see many wrecks if any at all, in fact, all cars finished the race last year.
Red Bull finished 20 seconds ahead of everyone, and I expect a similar result due to the long straights and tyre management advantages they have.
Miami Grand Prix Predictions
Red Bull’s legendary engineer Adrian Newey has announced he’s leaving Red Bull, but don’t read too much into it for the foreseeable future.
He’s staying on until the first quarter of 2025 when Red Bull announces their new car, so this season and next season shouldn’t see an impact.
He’s been there forever and is looking for a new challenge and the split seems to be very cordial so I don’t see any chaos or issues for them.
Double Podium Finish -Red Bull (-250)
This play is a no-brainer this week. They finished 1-2 last year, and this track suits their cars perfectly. Their reliability issues seem to be behind them, and unless a wreck happens I don’t see how they both don’t finish in the Top 3.
Parlay Piece – Ferrari Double Top 10
Rinse and Repeat every race with this play. They are the 2nd, maybe 3rd best team right now and while they aren’t competing with Red Bull for wins, they are easily within the Top 10 week-to-week. Neither driver has finished worse than 5th this season, this should cash again.
Top 6 – Oscar Piastri (-120)
This is a curious price since his teammate is -650. He finished 8th the last couple of weeks, but last week he had damage to his car and still managed to hold off guys behind him.
He has two 4th place finishes this season, and if he avoids damage to his car, I think he’ll be in the mix with Russell and Norris for Top 6, and if any of the guys ahead of him have trouble, this -120 price will be mighty tasty.
