Best NRFI Bets Today – Free NRFI Picks

NRFI Prediction 1: Colorado Rockies at San Francisco Giants (-110)

The Rockies are one of the worst first-inning teams in baseball, averaging .40 runs per first inning, and we are going with the under in today’s NL West showdown. The Rockies have averaged 0 runs per first inning over their last three games. Their run production in the first frame decreases to .33 runs when they are on the road, and we are fading them. Today, they face Kyle Harrison, who has a .308 wxOBA against the current Rockies’ roster with a .190 batting average, making this a great NRFI target.

Ryan Feltner is the Rockies’ best pitcher, and though he has struggled in the first inning, we expect him to retire three Giants without allowing a run for the NRFI. San Francisco averages .33 runs per first frame, and though that number rises to .41 runs at home, we like the NRFI. The Giants have not scored a first-inning run in their last three games, making this a great NRFI target.

NRFI Best Bet Today #2: San Diego Padres at Atlanta Braves (-110)

The Padres are one of the best YRFI teams in the MLB, putting up .76 runs per first frame. However, they are 0-3 to the NRFI in their last three games, and they have worse run-scoring production on the road. San Diego averages .40 runs in the first frame when they are away from home. They are facing lefty Max Fried, who has been one of the best pitchers in the NL so far this season.

The Braves are averaging .48 runs in the first frame, which is middle of the pack, and they have been better at home. So far this season, they are averaging .65 runs at home. Right-handed knuckleballer Matt Waldron makes the start for Atlanta. He is hard to hit when he is on, and the Braves have never seen Waldron pitch before. This is set up nicely for an NRFI.
