Connecticut Sun forward Alyssa Thomas is averaging 9.3 assists per game through the first three games of the regular season while clearing this line in 2 of 3 games with 9, 6 and 13 dimes.

Thomas faced the Minnesota Lynx a total of seven times last season including the playoffs and recorded double digit assists in 5 of those 7 games with 12, 6, 12, 10, 11, 2 and 16 assists.

The Lynx played Thomas to score, and she made them pay with the pass and averaged 10.3 assists per game during the regular season, her 2nd best total against any team.

Based on the potential for Thomas to record double digit assists, you could also consider sprinkling that line at +240 on FD. However, we will play it safe and put the majority of our bet on Thomas recorded 8+ assists tonight in the friendly confines of Mohegan Sun Arena.

WNBA Player Props Predictions: Napheesa Collier Minnesota Lynx Under 22.5 Points (-108) FD

Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier has averaged 24.5 points per game while clearing this mark in 1 of 2 games to open the season with 29 and 20 points.

However, those games were both played at a fast pace against the Seattle Storm and now she faces the Connecticut Sun who have played at the slowest tempo in the WNBA at 96.20.

The Sun only allow 59 field goal attempts per game while playing tougher defense on the interior and limiting second chance points.

This line is also inflated based on her success against the Sun last season as she cleared this line in 3 of 5 games with an average of 24.4 points per game.

However, Connecticut will also limit her transition points which she benefited from against Seattle. Collier also fell short of this mark in 2 of 3 games played on the road in Connecticut. This line just seems a few points too high based on tonight’s matchup against the Sun.
