Christian Yelich has been killing all pitching when healthy this season. On the season, Yelich is batting .304 against righties with three of his six home runs, a 151 wCR+, a .368 BABIP, and a .190 ISO. Given these splits and the fact he is facing a righty, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Yelich is 10-23 in his career off of Jameson Taillon with a double and two home runs, and we expect him to add another home run to that today. He has an average exit velocity of 91.5 miles per hour and an average launch angle of 10 degrees off of Taillon. Four of the five home runs Taillon has allowed this season have come against left-handed batters. Harrison has a higher FIP, HR/9, WHIP, and xFIP against lefties.
Alex Bregman (LAD) +630
Alex Bregman is not having one of his better seasons so far, but tonight, he has a great matchup to hit a home run. Bregman has five home runs, and his sixth should be in his sights today in Seattle. Bregman hit a home run on Tuesday, and we like him to do so again today.
Logan Gilbert is making the start for Seattle at home. Last season, Peterson allowed 29 home runs, and 16 of them were against right-handed batters. Bregman is 8-25 in his career against Gilbert with two home runs, a double, and an average exit velocity of 92.1 miles per hour, and a 26-degree launch angle. Given the history, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
