Marte has 15 home runs this season, and tonight, he was a matchup against a pitcher he has seen well. On the season, Marte is batting just .343 against lefties, and 11 of his 14 home runs have come against left-handed pitching. He has a 219 wCR+, a .303 BABIP, and a .414 ISO against lefties. Given these splits, the weather, and the fact he is facing a lefty, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Marte is 5-9 in his career against Patrick Corbin with two home runs and a double, and we expect Marte to continue to get the best of him. Kyle Schwarber (PHI) +176
After cashing on Schwarber yesterday, we are running back “June Schwarber” today.
These odds are low for a home run, but Schwarber in June cannot be overlooked, and this should be easy cash. Schwarber hit two homers on Monday and one yesterday, and he has a good matchup to go to the yard again today. Schwarber has 17 home runs this season, and his 18th should be in his sights today in Philly. This is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Matt Waldron is making the start for the Padres on the road. Waldron has been solid this season; he has allowed six home runs this season, and four of them have come from left-handed batters. Schwarber is 1-1 in his career against Waldron, with a home run hit at 102.3 miles per hour with a 27-degree launch angle.
