Pitcher Prop Bets No. 1: Zack Littell (TB) Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+134; FanDuel)

Zack Littell has cleared this number in 54% of games this season, and he has a solid strikeout matchup today against the Twins. The Twins have a 16.1% K rate against right-handed pitching over their last 14 games. Littell has been solid this season, so we are backing him. He is in the 45th percentile for K rate, the 78th for chase rate, and the 34th for whiff rate.

The Twins’ swinging strike rate and chase rate are currently both lower than their season-long numbers, and we expect regression from the Twins’ bats. The Twins have a 11.1% swinging strike rate over their last 14 games against righties and a 29.1% chase rate. This number is too low, making it one of the best pitcher props today.

Pitcher Props Today – Best Bets No.2: Luis Castillo (SEA) Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+130; FanDuel)

Castillo is coming off a seven-strikeout game against the Rangers, and we like him to go over today against the Guardians. Castillo has cleared this number in 80% of starts this season. The Guardians have a 13.1% K rate against right-handed pitching over the last 14 games is amazing, but this number is simply too low.

Castillo is in the 69th percentile for K rate, the 85th for chase rate, and the 64th for whiff percentage. These metrics are great, but so are the Guardians’ K against righties. Castillo is talented and he is a strikeout pitcher. He should be in long enough for a chance to rack them five or more strikeouts. This is one of the best pitcher props today.
