Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks

Michael Conforto (SF) +425

The struggles of Patrick Corbin have carried over into the 2024 MLB season as he heads into his home start against the Giants sporting a 5.88 ERA and 2-11 record on the season.

One Giants batter with tons of success against the Nationals lefty include Michael Conforto who is 12-34 against Corbin with five home runs in his career.

Normally we wouldn’t advocate for a lefty vs lefty matchup but this is a special circumstance with Conforto having general success against left handed pitching on the season batting .294 compared to just .211 vs right handed pitching.

He only has 11 home runs on the season hitting one every 17 at-bats against lefties and one every 32 at bats vs righties.

Conforto is also a much better hitter away from Oracle Park with a .241 average and nine home runs compared to just a .217 average and two home runs at home.

It does hurt that Conforto is currently hot as well with a .417 average and a home run already in August. Take Conforto to hit a home run at +425 with the Giants playing at Washington at 6:45pm ET.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Yordan Alvarez (HOU) +320

Andrew Heaney could have his hands full tonight taking on an Astros team with tons of experience against him including Yordan Alvarez who is 11-21 all time against the Rangers lefty with a home run.

Heaney has struggled across his last two starts allowing ten earned runs and allowed two home runs in a July start against Houston in five innings.

Alvarez has a hit in five of his last six games, but hasn’t hit a home run since July 21st. The Astros outfielder has had much more success on the road this season batting .356 with a home run every 16 at bats compared to playing at home with a .249 batting average and a home run every 25 at bats.

Alvarez also bats .367 against left handed pitching and sits top 15 among all players in slugging percentage and OPS against lefties.

Take Alvarez to hit a home run at +320 with another Astros hitter to consider for a home run includes Alex Bregman at +475 who is 14-41 all time vs Heaney with two home runs.
