Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks

George Springer (TOR) +500

The Blue Jays wrapped up a seven-game road trip over the weekend and return home to take on an Orioles team sending Grayson Rodriguez to the mound tonight.

He has given up five home runs across his last four starts with George Springer having much success against the Baltimore righty.

Springer is 6-14 with a home run all time against Rodriguez and hits a home run at home every 25 at-bats compared to on the road hitting one every 34 at-bats.

Springer is having an off-year but July was his best month hitting with five home runs, 16 RBIs and a .274 batting average which are all season bests for Springer across any given month this season.

Of the 15 home runs Rodriguez has given up on the season nine of them have been to right handed hitters who bat 74 points better than lefties who go against him. It’s also worth noting that Rodriguez sports a 4.42 ERA when pitching on the road compared to just a 3.32 ERA when at home.

Take Springer to hit a home run at +500 with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. a solid option to hit a home run as well at +500 as well who is 5-14 with a home run against Rodriguez all-time.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Mitch Haniger (SEA) +310

The Tigers stumble into a six-game west coast trip after going just 2-7 across their last nine games, all coming at home.

They’ll start out the trip at T-Mobile Park sending Keider Montero to the mound who has given up a home run once every four innings pitched this season including six over his last three starts.

Mitch Haniger has never faced Montero but is batting .357 over the past seven days and is much more comfortable batting at home this season sporting a .256 batting average and nine home runs compared to his road splits hitting just .161 with two home runs.

On the season, Montero has allowed a .293 batting average and six home runs in 82 at-bats to righties compared to a .267 batting average and five home runs across 90 at-bats against lefties.

These splits favor Haniger as well batting .236 against righties with nine home runs compared to just a .160 average and two home runs off lefties this season. Haniger doesn’t have impressive stats on the season, but he’s hot as of late with two home runs in August already.

Take Haniger to hit a home run at +310 with another Mariners hitter to consider for a home run includes Cal Raleigh at +330 who leads the Mariners in home runs on the season.
