Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks

Nolan Arenado (STL) +310

After hitting 26+ home runs in nine of the past ten seasons, it’s unlikely Nolan Arenado will get there again this season.

He only has 11 home runs through 111 games, but will get a favorable matchup tonight as the Cardinals will get lefty Andrew Abbott at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati tonight.

Arenado is 5-10 all time against the Reds lefty with two home runs with seven of his 11 total home runs coming on the road this season.

The Reds are the only team Arenado has multiple home runs against this season with Abbott giving up 24 total home runs on the season which is tied for third most given up among all MLB pitchers.

While Arenado hit four of his home runs in July, he doesn’t have any in August yet, but is batting .351 this month which is top 15 among all qualified hitters in the MLB.

Take Arenado to hit a home run at +310 odds tonight with Wilson Contreras another viable option at +225 going 2-2 with a home run off Abbott in his career.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Byron Buxton (MIN) +380

Brady Singer takes the mound for the Royals on the road tonight facing AL Central Division foe Minnesota tonight!

Although Singer has a 3.03 season ERA, he has given up a home run on the road every 5.5 innings pitched in addition to seven earned runs given up across his last two starts.

Byron Buxton has had solid success off the Royals righty going 7-15 with two home runs in his career and hit two home runs in the team’s 5-3 loss to Cleveland yesterday.

Buxton has two separate instances of hitting home runs in back-to-back games this season and is just one home run away from matching last season’s total of 17 home runs.

Singer hasn’t given up a home run in four straight starts but two of those came against the White Sox with the other two coming against lower tier teams in the Red Sox and Cubs.

Tonight’s game against the Twins should be much tougher competition which has a good shot to see the Twins outfielder hitting a home run.

Take Buxton to hit a home run at +380 with another Twins hitter to consider for a home run being Ryan Jeffers at +750 odds.
