Jeimer Candelario has had some experience vs Gausman in his career going 3-5 with a home run all time against the Blue Jays starter.

The Reds third baseman is just two home runs away from tying his career high for a season and already has three home runs this month which is tied for what he had in all of July.

Candelario is a switch hitter and he has 17 of his 20 home runs off right handed pitching on the season while sporting a slugging percentage that is over 120 points higher than when he faces left handed pitching.

He has two home runs in his last five games so lets go with Candelario to hit a home run tonight at +550 with another Reds hitter to consider for a home run being Spencer Steer at +475.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Tyler O’Neill (BOS) +340

If there is one Red Sox hitter to target for a home run tonight in their road game at Houston it’s Tyler O’Neill. He bats .311 vs lefties with one home run every 11 at-bats as the Astros send Lefty Yusei Kikuchi to the mound.

O’Neill has just two at-bats vs Kikuchi all-time, both coming this season and both resulting in home runs for the Red Sox outfielder.

O’Neill spent some time on the IL to start August, but did hit .306 with six home runs in July which was a season high for any given month this season.

He’s also more comfortable hitting on the road batting .310 away from Fenway Park as opposed to batting .225 at home.

After a four-strikeout performance yesterday, look for O’Neill to get back on track tonight in Houston with odds to hit a home run listed at +340.

Another Red Sox hitter to target for a home run could be Rafael Devers at +425 odds who has two home runs in 15 at-bats vs Kikuchi.
