MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #1: Jorge Soler (ATL) +300

It was just last season where Jorge Soler blasted 36 home runs for the Marlins but has just 17 this season combined with the Giants and Braves.

Atlanta welcomes Colorado to Truist Field for a three-game set starting tonight with lefty Kyle Freeland taking the mound for the Rockies. In his career vs Freeland, Soler is 5-13 with a home run and prefers going against lefties in general.

His slugging percentage is 80 points higher vs lefties than righties and his OPS is over 150 points higher as well.

Freeland has been a disaster on the road this season sporting a 7.34 ERA playing away from Coors Field while allowing a home run every four innings pitched compared to at home where his ERA sits at 3.74 and allowing a home run once every 11 innings.

It also helps that six of Soler’s 17 home runs have come against Colorado this season which is the most of any single opponent and has batted .418 in 55 at-bats as well.

Take Soler to hit a home run at +300 with another Braves hitter to look at for a home run includes Orlando Arcia at +550 who is 4-12 with a home run against Freeland in his career.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Francisco Lindor (NYM) +400

Kutter Crawford still sits tied for first in home runs given up this season at 28 with 18 of those coming away from Fenway Park as the Red Sox travel to New York to take on the Mets tonight.

Switch hitter Francisco Lindor has been hot as of late and looking to make it an even 30 home runs hit this season which would leave him just one short of last year’s total.

Of Lindor’s 29 home runs, 18 of them have been hit off right handers with 15 of them being hit over July and August. In six August starts Crawford gave up six home runs but zero in his last 11.2 innings pitched.

His ERA was still a high 6.32 for August so we feel he’s due to give up another home run or two tonight at Citi Field. Look for Lindor to keep his momentum going tonight with the Mets sitting 0.5 games out of the last NL Wildcard spot heading in.

Lindor’s odds to hit a home run tonight sit at +340 but if you want slightly more value, consider Brandon Nimmo at +400 who has a home run against Crawford in two at-bats against him in his career.
