We get to pick on Twins starter Zebby Matthews again tonight giving up six total home runs combined across his last three starts as the Twins and Guardians play the second of a four-game set in Cleveland.

He has yet to face Cleveland but does allow a .386 batting average and a whopping .807 slugging percentage to left-handed hitting.

This opens the door for first baseman Josh Naylor to blast a home run out of Progressive Field tonight who although has 29 home runs on the season, has just one in September so far.

He’s still hitting .283 for the month which is 38 points above his regular season average so he’s still currently getting good wood on the baseball.

Take Naylor to hit a home run with odds listed at +400 and with the Guardians rostering a slew of left-handed/switch hitters you could look at Jose Ramirez at +400 or Josh’s brother Bo Naylor at +550.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Brandon Lowe (TB) +500

Brandon Lowe and the Rays return home after a seven-game road trip with the team all but eliminated from post-season contention.

They can still play spoiler though, hosting the Red Sox who send Nick Pivetta to the mound. Lowe is 4-16 with three of those four hits being home runs against Pivetta all-time and also has home runs off Red Sox relievers Kenley Jansen and Chris Martin.

The Rays second baseman smacked a career high 39 home runs back in 2021 and although he missed much of the first half, he still has 18 home runs in 96 games which would put him at a 30 home run pace if he played all 162 games.

Pivetta has given up 25 home runs this season with 17 of them coming on the road including two each in three of his last four road starts.

Take Lowe to hit a home run with the Rays returning home tonight with odds listed at +500 with Josh Lowe another option at +600 to hit a home run who has one in five at-bats against Pivetta.
