NFL Week 4 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Breece Hall, New York Jets (+380) DK

We finally pulled off a 2-0 First Touchdown article in Week 3, cashing tickets on both David Montgomery (+700) and Ja’Marr Chase (+750).

Breece Hall is one of 10 NFL players who have scored a touchdown in all three games to open the season and that includes one first touchdown.

Hall also recorded two first touchdowns in 15 games in 2023. The Jets passing game may struggle here as the Denver Broncos have allowed the 2nd fewest passing yards with only 133.3 per game as elite cornerback Patrick Surtain cuts the field in half.

However, the Broncos do rank below average in run defense as they have allowed 126 yards per game and both Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet scored against them in Week 1.

The Charbonnet touchdown was on a reception and Hall has been effective catching the ball out of the backfield with one touchdown this season and 4 touchdowns in 2023.

I love the Jets chances of scoring first on Sunday and once they get into the red zone, Hall will be their guy.

NFL Week 4 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles (+475) DK

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is one of four NFL players to score two first touchdowns in the first three weeks of the season alongside James Cook, Justin Jefferson and Quentin Johnston.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are banged up on both sides of the ball which will lessen their chances of scoring first in this contest.

The Tampa Bay defense has allowed 8th most rushing yards with 137.7 per game and more importantly they are tied for the 4th most running back rushing touchdowns allowed with three.

The Bucs haven’t allowed a running back to score through the air despite allowing the MOST running back receiving yards with 211.

That’s key as Barkley has already scored a receiving touchdown while catching 10 of 11 passes for 53 yards.

Wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith are both questionable after missing practice on Thursday and Barkley has already found paydirt four times. I love his chances of scoring first with so many questions marks for both squads.
