NFL Week 7 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles (+400) DK

The Philadelphia Eagles are -3-point road favorites in this contest, and they will have a tremendous advantage in finding the end zone early as they have struck first in 4 of their 5 games (80%) while the New York Giants have only scored first in 1 of their 6 games (16.7%).

Saquon Barkley has five all-purpose touchdowns this season and two those were first touchdowns. Barkley only ran for 47 yards last week against the Cleveland Browns, but he had a solid workload with 18 carries while catching both of his targets.

The New York Giants have only allowed three running back touchdowns this season, but two of those came in their last two games (Chase Brown & Rico Dowdle).

We also have a revenge angle here as this will be Barkley’s first game against the Giants organization where he played the first six seasons of his career.

The Eagles will have the edge in scoring first and Barkley will be highly motivated to score first for the 3rd time this season.

NFL Week 7 First Touchdown Props Prediction: JK Dobbins LA Chargers (+550) DK

Both of these teams have done a great job in scoring first as the Los Angeles Chargers have struck first in 4 of their 5 games (80%) while the Arizona Cardinals have scored first in 4 of their 6 games (66.7%).

However, Arizona could be at a disadvantage this week as Marvin Harrison Jr (3 first team TDs) could miss this game with a concussion.

JK Dobbins hasn’t scored first yet this season, but he has scored in 3 of 5 games and he’s coming off a game where he ran for 96 yards on 25 carries.

Dobbins played on 73% of the snaps while backup Kimani Vidal only received 6 touches on 19 offensive snaps.

The Cardinals have allowed the 2nd most rushing yards to opposing running backs (749) to go along with 6 all-purpose touchdowns. This is a great matchup for a running back who is getting the lion’s share of the workload.
