NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Matthew Stafford, Rams OVER 235.5 Passing Yards (-115) FanDuel

The Rams are optimistic that Cooper Kupp will be back in action for Thursday Night Football as they host the 5-1 Vikings.

There won’t be anyone happier for his return on the team than QB Matthew Stafford who we’ll take to go over 235.5 passing yards against a Vikings secondary that has allowed over 260 passing yards per game this season which ranks third to last among all teams.

In Kupp’s only full game this season, Stafford had 317 passing yards against the Lions in Week 1 but just needed to throw for 154 yards in last week’s 20-15 win against the Raiders.

In Stafford’s career on the Rams and with Kupp healthy he’s thrown for an average of 265 yards per game and he’ll likely be letting it fly to keep up with a Minnesota offense that has generated 28 points per game so far this season.

We know Kyren Williams will get his touches on the ground but the Vikings rush defense has been stout, giving up just 80 yards per game on the ground which ranks second best in the NFL.

Take Stafford to get over 235.5 passing yards on Thursday Night Football with the return of his favorite target, Cooper Kupp.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Aaron Jones, Vikings OVER 67.5 Rushing Yards (-115) FanDuel

Aaron Jones has topped 67.5 rushing yards in four of six games for the Vikings this season as he gets to go against a Rams rushing defense allowing over 151 yards on the ground per game including 92 to Raiders running back Alexander Mattison last week.

Jones has been efficient with his carries, averaging 5.2 yards per carry so he should just need 13-14 carries to eclipse 67.5 rushing yards on Thursday Night Football.

Jones just had 93 yards on 14 carries against the Lions last week who rank top five in rushing yards allowed per game on the season.

Look for Jones to be the catalyst of the Vikings offense on Thursday Night Football getting over 67.5 rushing yards as the Vikings head in as three-point road favorites.
