NFL Week 12 First Touchdown Props Prediction: David Montgomery Detroit Lions (+350) DK

Montgomery is tied with Derrick Henry for the most first touchdowns in the NFL with 6 and he has scored 8 of his team’s 10 games.

The Lions and Colts have both done a great job in striking first as Detroit has scored first in 70% of their games while Indianapolis has scored first in 73% of theirs.

However, the Lions are -7.5-point road favorites, and the Colts have allowed the 5th most rushing yards with 143+ per game.

Indianapolis has also allowed 7 running back touchdowns and 4th most running back rushing yards with 115 per game. Let’s back Monty to get the job done again with better odds at +350. 

NFL Week 12 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Joe Mixon Houston Texans (+275) DK

Joe Mixon has scored an anytime touchdown in 7 of his 8 games this season and three of those were first touchdowns. That includes a 45-yard run against the Dallas Cowboys in the first drive of the game.

Both Houston and the Tennessee Titans have scored a team first touchdowns in 6 of their 10 games. However, the Titans score the 5th fewest points with only 17 per game while Houston scores 23.3 points per game.

Tennessee is the #1 rated pass defense in the NFL so it’s much easier to score against them on the ground.

The Titans have also allowed an NFL-high 6 receiving touchdowns to opposing running backs and while Mixon has only recorded one receiving TD he has caught 18 passes for 203 yards.

The Texans are -8.5-point home favorites, and the Titans are only projected to score two touchdowns in this contest.
