Caleb Williams has been a consistent runner this season, recording 30+ rushing yards in 7 of his 14 games while averaging 29 rushing yards per game.

Under the guidance of interim head coach Thomas Brown, the Chicago Bears have emphasized William’s strengths, increasing his opportunities for designed runs.

Williams has run for 27+ yards in 4 of his last 5 games with 27, 39, 33 and 70 rushing yards. The Detroit Lions front-seven is banged up and they have allowed eight opposing quarterbacks to run for 29+ rushing yards this season including Williams who ran for 39 yards in Week 13.

In the past month we have also seen Josh Allen run for 68 yards, Jordan Love run for 23 yards and Anthony Richardson run for 61 yards.

The Bears are tied with the Cleveland Browns for the most sacks allowed with 58 so William’s mobility has become a necessity and that will be the case with them sitting as 6.5-point home underdogs this week.
