Super Bowl LIX Anytime Touchdown Props Prediction: Jalen Hurts Philadelphia Eagles (-115)

Jalen Hurts scored three times last week against the Washington Commanders on 10 carries for 16 rushing yards and he is by far my favorite anytime touchdown prop for the Super Bowl outside of Saquon Barkley who has a -185-price tag. 

Hurts has scored an anytime touchdown in 14 of 18 games (78%) this season for a total of 18 including the postseason.

He’s now scored in 5 of 8 playoff games throughout his career (9 total) including 2 of 3 games this postseason. 

This includes Super Bowl LIX against Kansas City where Hurts scored three times on 15 carries for 70 yards. 

Steve Spagnola and the Chiefs defense loves to bring the pressure as they ranked 4th in blitz rate (31.6%) & 5th in press rate (26.1%) and that could force Hurts into additional running situations.

Of course, the X-factor is the “Brotherly Shove” which almost gives us a guaranteed score inside the five-yard line. A pass interference in the end zone which happened last week gives us a score as well.

Super Bowl LIX Anytime Touchdown Props Prediction: DeAndre Hopkins KC Chiefs (+650)

I wanted to include a longshot for the Super Bowl and DeAndre Hopkins stands out as he’s playing in his first Super Bowl in a 12-year career.

Since joining the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9, Hopkins has caught 41 passes for 437 yards and four touchdowns.

The Philadelphia Eagles held opponents to the fewest passing yards this season (174.2/game) mostly due to their ability to limit big plays to players like Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce.

A possession receiver like Hopkins may slip under the radar and find some soft spots especially in the red zone where he’s seen a target in 7 of his last 11 games.

Hopkins only caught one pass for 11 yards in the AFC Championship, but I could see Mahomes looking his way in the Super Bowl which makes a Hopkins an interesting look at +650.
