Southampton vs Aston Villa | April 12 | 10:00 AM ET

Aston Villa will attempt to lick their wounds against bottom-of-the-table Southampton this weekend after coming out on the wrong side of a 3-1 defeat in midweek against French giants PSG in the Champions League.

Villa were the ones to draw first blood in that clash with Youri Tielemans setting up Morgan Rogers for the opening goal, yet PSG were quick to respond, equalizing the deficit before the half and owning a sizeable 29-7 shot advantage over their English rivals across the course of the match also.

The Villains will face much more manageable opposition on Saturday though with Southampton still rooted to the bottom of the table after yet another heavy defeat away to Tottenham last weekend.

This is a tough spot for Aston Villa however, with a huge clash looming on the horizon for them on Tuesday hosting PSG in Birmingham.

That said, despite an understandable lack of focus for the Villains ahead of this one, Southampton have just been so incredibly poor this season, winning just one game in the Premier League across the whole of 2025 (that coming against fellow relegation-strugglers Ipswich), and still having yet to overtake Derby County as the worst Premier League team of all time with only seven games remaining, there’s simply no way we could even entertain putting money on the home side in this one given the season they’ve had so far, even with the positive situation in their favor for this weekend.

It’s Aston Villa or pass for us on Saturday.

Premier League Prediction: Aston Villa ML (-175)

Liverpool vs West Ham | April 13 | 9:00AM ET

Liverpool -330 | West Ham +815 | Draw +485

West Ham’s recent winless run was extended last weekend as the Hammers gave up a late goal to draw 2-2 against Bournemouth, a result that was fair considering the Cherries arguably had the better overall passages of play in the game.

The good news for West Ham fans however is that despite their recent dip of poor form, the teams in the relegation zone beneath them have also continued to come up short, especially in Ipswich’s huge game against Wolves last weekend, meaning bar an absolutely historic collapse the Hammers are safe for another season.

Liverpool are another team that stumbled in the Premier League last weekend as they lost 3-2 away to Fulham. The Reds took an early lead in that game thanks to Alexis Mac Allister’s goal, but were sensationally pegged back by three quick-fire goals from the Cottagers in just fourteen minutes right before the break.

With a current eleven-point cushion at the top of the table along with a superior goal difference, Liverpool definitely have some breathing room across the remaining few weeks, especially with Arsenal yet again dropping points against Everton last weekend.

So that leaves this game very hard to predict from a situational standpoint as both teams remain relatively comfortable in the table heading into matchday 32, and a loss or draw wouldn’t be overly detrimental to either team’s current status for at least one more week.

That said, the greater need definitely lies with Liverpool here, and they’ve managed to put at least five goals past West Ham in three of their last four meetings against them. That may well be the case once again here on Sunday also.

Premier League Prediction: Liverpool -1.5 (-115)

Bournemouth vs Fulham | April 14 | 3:00PM ET

Bournemouth +115 | Fulham +235 | Draw +255

Fulham’s rollercoaster season continued last weekend as they overcame table-toppers Liverpool via a 3-2 victory at home.

That came after losing both of their previous two games however, one of which came by a lopsided 3-0 scoreline in the FA Cup to Crystal Palace, with the Cottagers currently alternating wins and losses in the Premier League for six straight games heading into this weekend’s matchups.

Bournemouth meanwhile continued their winless run of six straight games in the league after a come-from-behind 2-2 draw against West Ham last Saturday, but of far more concern for the Cherries ahead of this one is the fact that they’ve lost four straight games at home as well.

The good news for Bournemouth however is that they do own a solid record against Fulham in this venue across recent seasons, winning both of their two previous meetings here by comfortable margins.

On top of that, Bournemouth have tended to be sharper, at least defensively, at home early on this season, owning the 5th best clean sheet percentage in the league inside the first half this season.

A fired-up Bournemouth team looking to get back in the win column may well be catching Fulham at the right time here after their big win against Liverpool last weekend. Let’s take them early to get the job done on Monday.
