Ray has already given up three home runs in 11.1 innings pitched this season and gave up six in just 30.2 innings pitched last season.

Rockies starter German Marquez has seen minimal action across the past two years, but he still allowed five home runs in just 25 innings pitched across 2023 and 2024.

He has yet to allow one in 11 innings pitched this season and we think he’s due to give up at least one to a Padres team tonight that sits 10-3 and 7-0 at home on the season.

We’re going with Fernando Tatis Jr. to smack a home run at Petco Park tonight batting .419 with a .645 slugging percentage against right handers on the season.

He’s gone just 2-13 against Marquez in his career but one of those hits was a home run and he hit 13 of his 21 home runs at home last season.

Also, it’s worth noting that he hit one home run every 16 at bats against righties last season compared to just one every 44 at-bats against lefties.

Tatis Jr. hit four home runs in April last season but has just one this season so we think this is a great opportunity to get his power numbers up.

Take Tatis Jr. to hit a home run at +370 with other Padres to look at for a home run include Manny Machado (+460) who is 12-29 with a home run off Marquez and Jake Cronenworth (+600) who is 6-19 with a home run off him as well.
