Expert MLB Props Today for Tuesday: Bryce Harper, Phillies Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)

Admittedly, Bryce Harper hasn’t been in the best form as he’s fallen short of this line in 4 of his last 5 games.

However, he’s 6-12 (.500) with two walks throughout his career against Giants starting pitcher Justin Verlander.

Verlander has been getting crushed with 6 runs (5 ER) allowed across 5.2 innings pitched in his last outing against Cincinnati after not being able to make it through the 3rd inning against a weak Seattle lineup.

The Giants bullpen has seen extensive work during their last two games, so Harper won’t see the best of the San Francisco bullpen tonight.

Citizens Bank Park is always a favorable hitting environment, and the wind is blowing from left to right at 20 mph and that favors a left-handed hitter like Harper.

I could see sprinkling his home run prop tonight at +450 as he hasn’t hit one in five straight games, but we’ll play it safe with his over 1.5 HRR at -125.

Expert MLB Props Today for Tuesday: Andrew Vaughn, White Sox Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-120)

Andrew Vaughn has been ice cold at the dish; he’s batting .113 on the season and he’s gone 4-38 (.105) in April with one extra-base hit (double) and 12 strikeouts.

Vaughn has only faced Jeffrey Springs twice throughout his career but both of those at-bats resulted in strikeouts.

Springs has had mixed results, but he just managed to hold a potent San Diego Padres lineup to 3 earned runs across 6 innings despite allowing 7 hits. The Athletics were off yesterday so their bullpen is rested, and Vaughn will see their best arms tonight.

Vaughn struggled out of the gate during the 2024 campaign, and he didn’t heat up until late May or early June. I’m banking on that continuing tonight against a pitcher he’s struggled against in a very short sample size.
