Philadelphia 76ers vs Chicago Bulls Analysis
The Chicago Bulls travel to Philadelphia for a battle with the Bulls in what should be a high-flying game between two teams separated by only a half game in the Eastern Conference standings.
The 76ers watched a five-game winning streak go up in flames as James Harden was rested on the second game of a back-to-back against the Miami Heat. The Bulls desperately need to right the ship after losing four-straight games.
The 76ers are looking for a four game regular season sweep over the Chicago Bulls. They won 103-98 at home and 114-105 and 119-108 on the road. All those games were played prior to trade deadline, so it will be interesting to see how these teams stack up against each other tonight.
Philadelphia 76ers vs Chicago Bulls Team Totals
We have the potential for a shootout as the Bulls team total is set at 112.5, while the 76ers is set even higher at 119.5 points. The 76ers were held to only 82 points in their last game against Miami without James Harden. However they had scored 123 points or more in all four games with Harden on the court.
The Bulls were playing great defense early in the season but have fallen of a cliff since both Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso went out with injuries. During the four game losing streak the Bulls have allowed 116, 112, 130 and 118 points. The 130 was against a high scoring offense in the Atlanta Hawks.
Starting center Nikola Vucevic is questionable for this game with a knee injury. While Vucevic doesn’t play great defense, him being out would allow Joel Embiid to have even more room to operate in the paint.
It’s a huge number, but you can’t deny the 76ers ability to score with Harden in the lineup. The Bulls won’t have any answers defensively and will be forced to try and outscore Philadelphia. 76ers team total over is the play.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Chicago Bulls Player Props
This game is loaded with superstars like Joel Embiid, James Harden, DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavine, so there many different directions to look. Everyone knows about DeMar DeRozans epic scoring run of late, he has scored over his point line of 28.5 in 11 of his last 13 games. DeRozan points over is definitely a direction you could look, especially if Vucevic is out.
James Harden has had 9, 11, 12 and 16 assists in four games since joining the 76ers. You could take over 10.5 assists at +110 odds as I am assuming he gets double digits assists.
However the best bet on the board has to be Tyrese Maxey over 17.5 points. In the four games with Harden on the court Maxey has scored 33, 21, 25 & 28. Maxey fell just short in the last game without Harden, as he scored 17 of his team’s 82 points.
The Bulls have no choice, they have to throw their best defenders at Embiid and Harden. This will free up Maxey to get open looks on the perimeter and open driving lanes to the hoop. If this ends up being the high scoring game we envision, then Maxey will fly over this point total.
Recommendation: Tyrese Maxey Over 17.5 Points

We always start with our top prop but lowered, so Tyrese Maxey 14 points or more it is.
I’m also confident in James Harden getting double-digit assists, but we will go over 8.5 to be safe. Harden has had nine or more assists in all four games as a 76er.
The 76ers have looked like a well oiled machine when at full strength. They are favored by seven points in this game, which says a lot against a team the caliber of the Chicago Bulls. For our same game parlay we will just ask for a Philadelphia victory, pushing our three-legger to +110 odds.
