College Basketball Props Prediction 1: Bruce Thornton, Ohio State OVER 21.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115) DK

Ohio State Buckeyes guard Bruce Thornton is averaging 15.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game for average of 23.2 Points + Rebounds + Assists thus far in the 2023-24 campaign.

Thornton has recorded 22+ PRA in 12 of 21 games on the season for a 57% success rate to the over including 3 of his last 5 games.

This is pace up spot for an Ohio State team that typically plays at a slower pace against an Iowa Hawkeyes team that ranks 14th in the nation in pace of play.

Thornton posted a 24 PRA effort in his last game against Iowa in March of last year. The Hawkeye’s defense has also been vulnerable as they rank only 296th in points allowed with 77.2 per game.

Brooks has scored 15+ points in 14 of his first 21 games for a 66% success rate to the over. He’s set career highs across the board in shooting at 42% from long distance and 73% from the charity stripe.

Brooks is also averaging 2.7 made three-pointers on 6.3 attempts per game which are also career highs. The Creighton Bluejays are 10.5-point home favorites, but Brooks has thrived on the road with an average of 17.9 points per game.

He’s also played 30+ minutes in each of his last 10 games despite some of those games resulting in blowouts. Look for Brooks to be firing away plenty of shots in an attempt to keep up with a heavy home favorite tonight in Nebraska.
