Richmond vs George Mason Stat Log

Tired Legs?

George Mason is No. 344 in bench minutes this season, and with the Patriots needing to cram games in because of prior cancellations, I’m not sure how well their legs are going to hold up over the next few weeks. The Patriots have played the fewest number of conference games in the A-10, so they will be playing catch-up but signs of attrition are already beginning to show.

Monday night’s game with Richmond will be the middle game of a three-games-in-five-nights stretch for George Mason. All five starters played more than 40 minutes in last week’s overtime clash with St Louis.

Bombs Away

Monday night’s contest will likely come down to the three-point line. George Mason is No. 18 in the country in shooting the three at 37.9-percent, while Richmond is No. 269 at defending the outside shot (35.3-percent allowed). Over 40-percent of George Mason’s points come from the three-point line, which is well over the national average. So if the outside shot falls for the Patriots, we should be in for a tight in-state battle.
