College Football Player Props Prediction 1: Colston Loveland, Michigan OVER ~42.5 Receiving Yards (-115) FanDuel

Colston Loveland should come out of the 2024 season as one of the top tight end prospects to enter the NFL draft as Michigan hosts Texas on Saturday at The Big House.

Loveland had arguably the best offensive performance of all Michigan players in the Wolverines 30-10 win over Fresno State last Saturday hauling in eight catches for 87 yards and a touchdown.

Regardless of the outcome in this game or who starts at QB, Loveland should be highly targeted once again with his receiving yards number set at just 42.5.

He surpassed this number in seven of 15 games last season, but that was when Michigan had many more weapons on offense to utilize.

It looks like Davis Warren will get the start again for the Wolverines and should check down to Loveland consistently on pass plays, minimizing mistakes that could cost the Wolverines time of possession which is an aspect of this game they’ll want to focus on if they hope to contend with Texas.

Take Loveland to go up and over 42.5 receiving yards as Michigan’s top pass catching threat once again.

Best College Football Prop Bets – Pick # 2: Kyle McCord, Syracuse OVER ~255.5 Passing Yards (-115) FanDuel

QB Kyle McCord is no stranger to slinging the pigskin averaging 264 passing yards per game at Ohio State last year before transferring to Syracuse this season.

He opened the season with a 354 yard passing performance against Ohio at home as the Orange are set to host an upstart Georgia Tech team on Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets weren’t tested much in the team’s 35-12 win over Georgia State last weekend while allowing QB Christian Veilleux to throw for 210 yards on 19 completions (11 yards/completion).

McCord averaged nearly 14 yards per completion last season and 13 yards per completion last week with his passing yards prop number listed at 255.5.

Even if McCord were to only complete 20 passes against Georgia Tech at 13 yards per catch, it would put him over this number.

We expect more from McCord this week though so take him to go up and over 255.5 passing yards in a crucial ACC battle against Georgia Tech.
