It looks as if Lawrance Toafili has taken the reigns as the lead back at Florida State as they host Clemson in an ACC showdown Saturday night.

This season can’t get any worse for the Seminoles but a home win over 15th ranked Clemson would raise spirits in the locker room.

The Tigers rushing defense shockingly ranks bottom 30 in the FBS allowing 182 rushing yards per game. Toafili’s rushing yards prop number sits at 66.5 ahead of kickoff surpassing this number in the last two games while totaling 32 carries combined in those matchups.

He had just 13 carries combined in Florida State’s first three games with the Tigers just giving up 122 rushing yards on 15 carries to Stanford lead back Micah Ford last week in a 40-14 win.

So, regardless if Clemson runs away with this one or the Seminoles keep it close, they’ll likely lean on Toafili’s running ability averaging 4.8 yards per carry on the season.

Should Toafili keep that YPC number in this ACC matchup, he’d need just 14 carries to get up and over 66.5 rushing yards.

College Football Player Props Prediction 2: Noah Fifita, Arizona OVER 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+125) FanDuel

We’re looking at a plus-money player prop for the final game on the College Football Week 6 slate as Texas Tech plays at Arizona in a Big 12 battle.

Texas Tech is third to last in the nation in passing yards allowed per game so we’re expecting tons of points to be put up by the Wildcats led by sophomore quarterback Noah Fifita.

With Arizona listed as slight favorites and the total around 64.5, we’ll take him to throw over 2.5 touchdown passes.

Last season in eight regular season starts he threw three touchdowns in five of those contests. He has only done it once in four games so far this season meaning he’s due for another big game.

The Red Raiders are off a 44-41 win over Cincinnati but they allowed quarterback Brendan Sorsby to throw for 426 yards and four touchdowns.

If the Wildcats are going to come away with a home win here, they’re going to need Fifita to be highly productive to keep up with a Red Raiders offense that has scored 41 points per game this season which ranks top 20 in the nation. Look for Fifita to let it fly on Saturday night going over 2.5 touchdown passes.
