  • New Mexico is 1-9 against the spread this season.
  • Oklahoma State has covered the spread in each of the Cowboys’ last eight games, and is 6-0 ATS on the road.
  • Stanford’s five-game losing streak (0-5 ATS as well) is the longest of David Shaw’s tenure.
  • Each of Utah’s last six games have gone over the total.
  • Ole Miss is 6-1 against the spread in the Rebels’ last seven home games.
  • Each of Ole Miss’ last five games have stayed under the total.
  • The home team has covered all nine of South Alabama’s FBS games this season.
  • The home team is 9-1 against the spread in Baylor’s games this season.
  • Ten of Missouri’s last 13 games have gone over the total.
  • UCF is 9-21 against the spread in the Knights’ last 30 games against FBS opponents.
  • Louisiana is 9-1 on the season, but 0-4 against the spread in four road games.
  • Temple is 4-14 against the spread since late 2019.
  • The under is 8-2 in Washington’s games this season.
  • Indiana is 1-8 against the spread against FBS opponents this season, including 0-4 ATS at home.
  • Maryland has failed to cover the spread in the Terps’ last nine conference games.
  • Nebraska is 6-1 against the spread in the Huskers’ last seven games as an underdog. All seven of Nebraska’s losses this season have come by single digits.
  • SMU is 5-1 against the spread in the Mustangs’ last six games as an underdog.
  • Navy has won and covered the spread in each of the last five meetings with East Carolina.
  • The under is 9-1 in Illinois’ games this season.
  • Clemson is 2-8 against the spread this season (with one of those two covers coming in miracle fashion vs Florida State).
  • Iowa State has covered the spread in each of the last five regular season meetings with Oklahoma.
  • Texas’ five-game losing streak is the program’s longest since 1956.
  • Air Force is 20-10-1 against the spread as an underdog since 2014.
  • Memphis has covered the spread in each of the last six meetings with Houston.

College Football Week 12 Injury Notes

  • Auburn – QB Bo Nix broke his ankle against Mississippi State and is out for the season.
  • Clemson – WR Justyn Ross (47 catches, 524 yds., 3 TDs) was knocked out of last week’s against UConn and was seen on crutches in a walking boot by the end of the game.
  • Indiana – QB Jack Tuttle returned from a foot/ankle injury against Rutgers but reinjured himself and had to be removed. Starter Michael Penix Jr. has missed the last five games.
  • Iowa – QB Spencer Petras was left off the depth chart in advance of this week’s prep for Minnesota, the second-straight game that’s happened.
  • Ole Miss – WR Jonathan Mingo, who’s been out more than a month with a foot injury, could be ready to return against Vanderbilt this week.
  • Nevada – TE Cole Turner (55 catches and 8 TDs) missed the San Diego State game with a concussion.
  • North Carolina – QB Sam Howell is questionable to face Wofford this week. He could be held out as a precaution in anticipation of regular-season finale against NC State November 26.
  • Oregon – WR Johnny Johnson III was knocked out of last week’s game vs Washington State with an ankle injury.
  • Tennessee – Explosive WR JaVonta Payton (6 TDs on 24.9 yards per reception) suffered an upper body injury in the loss to Georgia and is questionable to face South Alabama.
  • UL Monroe – QB Rhett Rodriguez, who had missed last six games with a chest injury, returned in last week’s loss to Arkansas State.
  • Utah – RB Tavion Thomas, the Pac-12 leader in rushing TDs with 14, was held out against Arizona as a precaution for an undefined injury.
  • Virginia – QB Brennan Armstrong sat out the Notre Dame game with rib injury and remains iffy this week against Pittsburgh.
  • Wake Forest – RB Christian Beal-Smith (533 yards rushing with 7 TDs) suffered a foot/ankle injury vs. North Carolina and was held out against NC State, watching the game from the sideline in a walking boot.
