Dutch Grand Prix Track: Circuit Zandvoort

This track is pretty awesome in my opinion as it’s shorter, tight, and fast, and with the tight quarters around the turns, it makes for really good racing.

There’s only one long stretch, and the rest of the track is tight turns, braking opportunities, and plenty of chaos.

Speaking of chaos, last years race was chaotic due to the weather, and it will certainly impact this weekend as it will rain for the first practice, the third practice, and qualifying.

That’s going to make it really tough to bet this race before Saturday, but here are a few things I like.

Dutch Grand Prix Winning Margin

UNDER 6 Seconds (-150)

These cars are getting very competitive at the front of the field, and this bet has cashed in 6 straight races.

With rain in the forecast for qualifying, the field could have a crazy start, and anytime we can get some chaos in a race, it increases the chances of a safety car that bunches the field together. I don’t see any driver having a huge advantage here, I expect a close finish.

Dutch Grand Prix Top 4 Finish

Lewis Hamilton (-120)

I’m shocked at this price as he’s finished Top 4 in the last 6 races, and he’s shown to be good in the rain if that pops up on race day or for qualifying.

Mercedes has also seemed to have the best strategy in close and chaotic races this year as McLaren has screwed it up plenty of times, and Sergio Perez can’t get his act together so I’m not confident there will be 4 drivers ahead of Lewis at the end.
