Blazing Sevens was born on February 19, 2020 in Kentucky and was bred by Tracy Farmer. He is sired by Good Magic, the 2017 Champion 2-Year-Old Colt and a Grade 1 winner who finished second in the 2018 Kentucky Derby and fourth in the Preakness Stakes. His dam is Trophy Girl, a daughter of Warrior’s Reward, a Grade 1 winner and a sire of multiple stakes winners. Trophy Girl is also a half-sister to Judy B, a stakes-placed mare who produced Grade 2 winner and sire Mr Speaker.
Blazing Sevens is trained by Chad Brown, who has won more than 1,800 races in his career and is one of the most successful trainers in North America. He has also trained two Preakness Stakes winners: Cloud Computing in 2017 and Mage in 2022.
