Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks
Vinnie Pasquantino (KCR) +675
Pasquantino has not left the yard this season, and so far, he’s having trouble hitting anything. He’s batting just .092 with one hit in 13 plate appearances. Still, this number is short for a guy with so much power who also has a great matchup. Dean Kremer allowed 27 home runs last season which was good for 10th in the entire MLB. Kremer allowed 15 of those 27 to left-handed batters. Pasquantino, who missed a majority of last season with an injury, hit eight of his nine home runs against right-handed pitchers and had a .216 ISO. If Pasquantino can get a pitch to hit, he’s more than capable of clearing the wall at Camden Yards tonight.
Anthony Santander (BAL) +450
Santander has two home runs in his career of Michael Wacha, and he should be primed to hit a third tonight in Baltimore. In 18 career plate appearances against Wacha, Santander has an average exit velocity of 85.9 MPH and an average launch angle of 22.4 degrees. Wacha allowed 15 home runs last season, and he’s making his first appearance of 2024. We like Santander to welcome Wacha to the new year with a blast. Santander already has two home runs on the young season, so he is clearly seeing the ball well and making solid contact.
Juan Soto (NYY) +390
Juan Soto has had as good of a start with a new team as you could ask for, and we expect it to continue tonight in Arizona. Soto is 3/14 in his career off Ryne Nelson, and two of those hits were home runs. Soto is familiar with Nelson from his time in San Diego, so he has experience against this pitcher. Nelson let up nine home runs to left-handed batters last season, and he allowed a higher average to lefties as well. Soto hit his first home run as a Yankee in Houston, and he has a great chance to add a second one tonight in Arizona.
