Byron Buxton (MIN) +265

Buxton has nine home runs this season, and today, he was a matchup against a pitcher he has seen well. Buxton is batting .263 against righties on the season, and six of his nine home runs have come against right-handed pitching. He has a 118 wCR+, a .336 BABIP, and a .193 ISO against righties. Given these splits and the fact he is facing a righty, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.

Buxton is 7-9 in his career against Chris Flexen with two home runs and three doubles, and we expect Buxton to get the best of him. Flexen has allowed 15 home runs this season, and five have come against right-handed batters. Buxton’s success against Flexen and the White Sox’s poor bullpen makes this one of the best home run prop bets today.

Brendan Rodgers (COL) +500

Brendan Rodgers is not a major power threat, but we like his matchup to go yard today. Rodgers has not gone yard since July 8th, but this is an excellent matchup for him to go to the yard again today. Rodgers has five home runs this season, and his sixth should be in his sights today in Cincinnati. This is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.

Andrew Abbott is making the start for the Reds at home. Abbott has been decent this season, and he has allowed 16 home runs this season, and 14 of them have come from right-handed batters. Rodgers is 2-3 in his career against Abbott with a home run and a double, and he has a 93.1-MPH exit velocity, meaning he is hitting the ball hard. We expect him to get the better of Abbott today and lift a baseball for one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
