Adley Rutschman is heating up, and he has a great matchup to go yard today. Rutschman has not had a home run since May 26th, but we would like him to hit one today. On the season, Rutschman is batting .442 against lefties, and five of his ten home runs have come against left-handed pitching. He has a 235 wCR+, a .459 BABIP, and a .260 ISO against lefties. Given these splits and the fact he is facing a lefty, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Adley is 8-20 in his career off of Yuesi Kikuchi, with a double and two home runs, and we expect him to add a home run to that today. He has an average exit velocity of 90.8 miles per hour and an average launch angle of 21.1 degrees off of Kikuchi. All of the six home runs Kikuchi has allowed this season have come against right-handed batters, making this one of the best home run prop bets on the board today.
Mookie Betts (LAD) +400
Mookie Betts went yard on June 2nd, and we like him to hit another one today. Betts has nine home runs this season, and his tenth should be in his sights today on the road. Betts has a great matchup today against Bailey Falter.
Bailey Falter is making the start for the Pirates at their home park. Falter has been solid this season, but he has allowed nine home runs this season, and eight of them have come to right-handed batters. Betts is 0-2 off of Falter, but he has an average launch angle of 62.5 degrees, meaning he was lifting the ball in the air.
