Aaron Judge (NYY) +180

It’s time to pick our spot for Aaron Judge to hit a home run and we think tonight is the night as the Yankees welcome in AL East foe Toronto for a three-game set.

The Blue Jays send Jose Berrios to the mound who has given up six home runs in 28.2 innings pitched this season including four to right handed bats.

Right handed batters have a slugging percentage of .634 against Berrios this season opposed to lefties with a .431 slugging percentage with Judge going 13-34 with five home runs against Berrios in his career.

It has been eight games since Judge hit a home run so he’s due, but his bat has still been solid going 12-28 with five RBIs across his last seven games.

It makes sense that Judge’s power has been mediocre as of late with the Yankees coming off a seven game road trip and the outfielder sporting a 1.024 slugging percentage at home compared to a .500 slugging percentage on the road.

This is the first time the Yankees and Blue Jays play each other this season and in 2024 Judge hit .326 against Toronto with four home runs.

We know the odds aren’t great, but take Judge to hit a home run at +180, but if you want better odds other batters to consider for a home run are Jazz Chisholm (+450) and Cody Bellinger (+630).

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Julio Rodriguez (SEA) +400

Julio Rodriguez is 6-11 with two home runs in his career against Marlins starter Cal Quantrill and we think this is an opportune time for him to get his fourth home run of the year tonight.

Rodriguez hasn’t hit a home run since April 6 and is only batting .195 for the month, but he is riding a five-game hitting streak into this one with RBIs in consecutive games as well.

Quantrill has had his struggles against right handed bats this season with righties sporting a .763 slugging percentage against him as opposed to lefties with just a .394 slugging percentage.

Last year the Marlins starter gave up 14 of his 23 home runs to righties in almost the same amount of at-bats as lefties had against him.

This is the first game for the Mariners back in Seattle after a nine-game road trip so perhaps Rodriguez just needs some home cooking to get the power back into his bat.

Take Rodriguez to hit a home run at +400 odds with other Mariners to look at for a home run include Luke Raley (+480) and Randy Arozarena (+500).
