Lefty Logan Allen takes the mound for the Guardians at home tonight as they host AL Central Division rival Royals for a four-game set with the second leg of a double header going at 6:40pm ET.

Allen sports a 6.05 home ERA while allowing a home run every 4.2 innings pitched. This sets up for a solid opportunity for Salvador Perez to hit a home run tonight for the Royals who has a home run once every 18 at-bats vs lefties with a .306 batting average vs just a .267 average against righties.

Allen gave up two home runs in just five innings in his last start vs Arizona and five home runs total across his last three starts combined.

Perez’s .506 slugging percentage in August is his highest for a month during this season since April so while Perez has some power in his bat, let’s take him to hit a home run tonight at +400 with another Kansas City batter to consider for a home run being Bobby Witt Jr. at +430.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Gleyber Torres (NYY) +400

While Aaron Judge continues to blast baseballs out of ballparks we’re going to try and find some value elsewhere in this Yankees vs Nationals matchup in Gleyber Torres who had a 3-run home run in yesterday’s series finale vs the Rockies and hit home runs in back-to-back games just a month ago.

Torres has just 11 home runs on the season but six of those have come in 119 at-bats vs lefties compared to the other five coming in 338 at-bats vs righties.

Parker was solid in his last start which came against Colorado but allowed three home runs combined in the two starts before that.

Although his home run total is low, Torres has the potential to hit a home run at Washington tonight, belting 24+ home runs in each of the last two seasons with his career high being 38 home runs back in 2019.

Take Torres to hit a home run tonight at +400 but if you want to ride Judge’s home run streak, you can take him at +155 to hit a home run.
