Chris Bassitt takes the mound for the Blue Jays who although has been solid to start the year, has had historic struggles against lefties.

Rafael Devers specifically is 7-14 with three home runs in his career off Bassitt and although Devers has just one home run while batting .265 this season, he’s batting .433 with a .700 slugging percentage in April.

Last season, Bassitt gave up 18 home runs with 14 of those coming against left handed batters and also allowed five total home runs last April. Bassitt has yet to give up a home run this season but has allowed lefties to bat .286 compared to righties batting .190.

Take Devers to hit a home run today at +390 with other lefty bats to consider for a home run including Wilyer Abreu (+560) and Triston Casas (+680).

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Matt Olson (ATL) +500

Matt Olson has gotten off to a slow start this season batting just .211 with one home run as the Braves get new Phillies pitcher Jesus Luzardo starting for Philadelphia tonight.

Luzardo gave up nine home runs last season in 66.2 innings pitched with five of those coming on the road and allowing left handed batters to hit .267 with a .489 slugging percentage compared to righties batting just .241 with a .394 slugging percentage.

Last season, Olson had success against left-handed pitching, hitting a home run once every 17 at bats with a .515 slugging percentage compared to one every 22 at bats against righties with a .434 slugging percentage.

That success has so far carried over to this season with the Braves first baseman batting .375 against lefties compared to just .167 against righties.

Take Olson to hit a home run at +500 with other Braves who can hit a home run tonight being Marcell Ozuna (+430) and Austin Riley (+450).
