The Twins got a much needed win last night over the Marlins as these two play the last game of their series at 7:40pm ET.

Miami is rolling out Valente Bellozo to start tonight and despite his 3.82 ERA, he’s allowed one home run every 4.1 innings pitched.

Nine of the 14 total home runs he’s given up have been to right handed hitters with Byron Buxton being the only Twins player to hit a home run over the past week which came last night.

We’re going to take him to hit a home run again tonight as he’s had two other instances this season of hitting home runs in back-to-back games.

He only has 18 home runs this season but has missed a goo portion of it with 15 of his 18 dingers coming off right handed pitching this season.

The Twins outfielder also sports a slugging percentage 90 points higher at home than on the road as well.

Bellozo has given up two home runs in each of his last two starts so let’s take Buxton at +200 to hit a home run tonight with Ryan Jeffers a viable option at +500 who has 20 home runs on the season.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD) +310

We’re going to go with another player who hit a home run last night with our second selection in Fernando Tatis Jr. who came off the IL at the start of the month and has been crushing the ball ever since.

He has seven home runs this month after missing all of July and August and has gone 8-26 with four of those eight hits being home runs against Dodgers starter Walker Buehler.

Tatis Jr. sports a .324 road batting average compared to just a .244 average at home and has a .351 average against the Dodgers this season to go with a .649 slugging percentage.

The Dodgers starter has been solid in years past but this might be one he wants to forget about going just 1-6 with a 5.63 ERA this season.

He has allowed five home runs collectively in his last four starts including two each to non-playoff contenders Cubs and Angels.

Take Tatis Jr. to hit a home run at +310 with Jake Cronenworth a solid long shot option at +600 who has a home run in 16 at-bats off Buehler all time.
