Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks

Elly De La Cruz (CIN) +475

Elly De La Cruz started the month cold going 0-11 but since the Reds have landed in Miami he’s 8-10 with two home runs!

The Reds and Marlins play the third of a four-game set with Miami sending Valente Bellozo to the mound who has minimal experience on the season.

He has one start in each of June, July and August, pitching five innings in each and allowing a home run in two of three starts.

In his one home start he gave up five earned runs with De La Cruz hitting 15 of his 20 home runs off righties on the season and in total is batting .591 against the Marlins on the season with four total home runs which is tied for most against any team this season.

We’ve seen De La Cruz’s batting average increase month over month as well from May-July. Playing away from the Great American Ballpark hasn’t hindered De La Cruz all season either hitting half his home runs away from home to go along with a .533 slugging percentage.

Take De La Cruz to hit a home run tonight in Miami at +475 with another notable option being Tyler Stephenson to hit a home run at +600 as well.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Austin Riley (ATL) +320

Austin Riley clubbed 33+ home runs in each of the past three seasons, but he likely won’t reach that mark this season with just 15 home runs as the Braves get Freddy Peralta and the Brewers in Atlanta tonight.

This is certainly a spot for Riley to add to his home run total this season which stands at 15. He hits a home run at home once every 19 at-bats compared to just one every 33 at-bats when playing away from Truist Park.

Peralta does sport a 3.89 ERA but has allowed two home runs each in his last two starts with his last coming against this exact same Braves team.

Riley is 5-13 with a home run all-time vs Peralta with the Brewers righty allowing 11 of his 18 home runs to right handed hitters in 10 less at-bats than left handed hitters faced on the season.

Look for Riley to be a catalyst in tonight’s Brewers vs Braves game with odds to hit a home run listed at +320 with another hitter to consider for a home run being Matt Olson at +400 odds.
